We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dynamic HR Coordinator to join our team. Based at Eight Mile Plains, this is a varied role, responsible for providing generalist Human Resources expertise in the areas of recruitment, HR coordination, administration support, projects, and reporting requirements.  This integral role will support a broad range of policies, programs and practices and will support the HR Business Partners, reporting directly to the General Manager – Human Resources & Health, Safety and Environment.  


Key responsibilities include:


  • Managing end-to-end recruitment for non-management and non-supervisory roles
  • Supporting the HR Business Partners in managing the recruitment process for all other roles, including: benchmarking, writing position descriptions and job advertisements, posting job advertisements, booking interviews, phone screening and reference checking
  • Coordinating pre-employment activities and prepare letters of offer and other relevant documentation
  • Managing the internal onboarding process for new employees
  • Coordinating employee changes including movements, title changes, salary adjustments ensuring accuracy with payroll, service desk, and other delegations of authority
  • Managing confidential HR records, including archiving, computer files, and personnel files
  • Coordinating annual Performance Review Process
  • Managing HR Systems
  • Preparing and analysing monthly and quarterly reports
  • Providing general assistance to the General Manager – Human Resources in the implementation of HR compliance and projects
  • Supporting the China office, preparing pre-employment documentation, onboarding, training, and liaising with TMF for payroll and legislation


The Person


Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications, preferably in Human Resource or a business related discipline
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a Human resources environment, preferably at a coordinator or officer level
  • Payroll system experience (Micropay Meridian) preferred but not essential
  • Experience working towards and delivering on agreed objectives/targets
  • Highly developed communication skills
  • Exceptional computer literacy skills including Microsoft Excel
  • Outstanding attention to detail and commitment to completion
  • Ability to work discretely with sensitive and confidential information
