Content Summary:
Persistent pathogens are implicated as the drivers of many chronic diseases and syndromes. These covert invaders can either be bacteria (including their cell-wall deficient forms known as stealth pathogens), mycoplasma, viruses (especially herpes viruses), fungi or parasites (either unicellular or complex organisms). There has been considerable focus on this topic in natural medicine circles, but much of the discussion is lacking in robust and credible solutions.
In this seminar, Kerry and Amina will explore this challenging clinical area. Kerry will focus on the best evidence-based natural medicine approaches and the role of persistent pathogens in autoimmune disease. Amina will focus on her clinical experience working with Lyme Disease and associated co-infections.
